Cover the people who depend on you.

Term or whole life, priced across multiple carriers. We will tell you what you actually need rather than what earns the biggest commission.

Life insurance is the one policy you will never file a claim on yourself. It exists so that if your income stops, the mortgage still gets paid and the people you left behind are not making decisions in a hurry.

Term or whole life

Most families in the Antelope Valley are better served by term. It covers a fixed number of years — usually until the mortgage is gone and the children are grown — at the lowest cost per dollar of coverage. Whole life costs considerably more and builds cash value, which makes sense for estate planning or a lifelong need, and much less sense as a first policy.

A rule of thumb, not a rule. Ten to twelve times annual income is the common starting point. What matters more is the actual number: outstanding mortgage, remaining years of income, childcare, education, and final expenses, minus what you already have through work.

What we will look at

  • Coverage already in place through an employer, and whether it follows you if you change jobs
  • How many years of income the household would need to replace
  • Mortgage balance and any other debt that would not disappear
  • Whether a term policy should be convertible to permanent later
  • Riders worth having, and the ones that are not worth the premium

How the process works

  • You send the form. We call to talk through the numbers — no medical questions on the website.
  • We run quotes across several carriers, since underwriting differs and the cheapest carrier is not the same for everyone.
  • Health questions and any exam happen directly with the carrier, on their secure system.
  • Most term policies are approved in two to six weeks. Some simplified-issue products are faster.

Common questions

I have coverage at work. Is that enough?

Usually not, and it usually ends when the job does. Employer coverage is a good foundation and a poor plan.

Does tobacco use disqualify me?

No. It changes the rate class. Several carriers treat occasional cigar use differently from daily smoking, which is one of the reasons shopping the market matters.

What if I have a health condition?

Many conditions are insurable at standard or near-standard rates. Carriers vary widely on this. Call us and we will point you at the ones most likely to look at your situation favourably.
